We have a variety of ways for you to be active and pursue your passion at UNLV and in the Las Vegas community. All programs are open to any UNLV student.

Rebel Service Council
By providing and promoting service-oriented and educational activities that allow students to make meaningful community contributions in a safe environment, the council allows students to effect change as citizens of socially and civically diverse communities.
Alpha Phi Omega Petitioning Group
Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity has more than 17,000 student members at 366 college campuses nationwide. Its mission is to prepare campus and community leaders through service. Its purpose is to develop leadership, promote friendship, and provide service to humanity.
Alternative Spring Break
Alternative Breaks give students the opportunity to engage in service in other parts of the national or international community during spring break and other university recesses.
Meals On Wheels
Meals on wheels provides more than 250 bagged lunches to the homeless of North Las Vegas each Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Dining Commons.
Saturday of Service
Saturday of Service is a half-day Saturday service opportunity that focuses on a different issue for each project. Project start times may differ depending on the project.
Student Volunteer Initiative
UNLV in collaboration with Nevada Volunteers is recruiting UNLV students to serve in a statewide group promoting volunteerism and service-learning among college students.
By being a member of this group you will gain valuable skills, receive a commendation from our congressional delegation, network with students across the state, develop leadership skills and earn a $500 stipend. Your responsibilities will be to attend three face to face meetings during the school year, and give 50-80 hours of your time to projects and programs related to volunteerism and service-learning.

President's Volunteer Service Award
The President's Volunteer Service Award is a way to recognize individuals who have shown a significant passion for working to better their community through service.
Blood Drive Battle
The Blood Drive Battle is a competition between UNLV and University of Nevada, Reno to see which university can donate the most blood to United Blood Services. All drives are held on campus and with any donation you will receive a Blood Drive Battle T-shirt.
