Leadership Education and Development Team
The LEAD Team is a group of self-motivated students with a solid understanding of leadership theory and skills with a desire to help educate other emerging student leaders. It is the logical next step for active student leaders that have gone through the Leading Edge Series, Seven Habits Series, and/or Monthly Leadership Programming. Members generally have experience in other UNLV student clubs and organizations. This peer education team not only serves as facilitators for the two major leadership series, but also plans monthly programming around leadership related themes. LEAD Team can also be individually contacted for leadership consulting and training for UNLV organizations, councils, and/or chapters.

The UNLV LeaderShape Institute
The LeaderShape Institute is an intensive six-day experience facilitated by faculty/staff members who serve as role models and learning coaches, teaching ethics-based leadership to students.

Leadership and Civic Engagement Minor
The minor in leadership and civic engagement is available to undergraduate students who are interested in developing their skills as a leader in their field of study or as a student leader within the university community. These courses provide additional educational opportunities which supplement degree programs to support the growth of civically engaged leaders needed in the global community.

Academic Classes
Check out our list of academic classes, like the Rebel Leadership Experience, geared toward emerging student leaders.

Leadership Project House
The Leadership Project House is a first-year experience floor in the Tonopah Complex for students who want to make a difference on and off campus. Students living on this floor attend a leadership retreat, interact with campus and community leaders, engage in hands-on leadership development, and are required to enroll in the spring "Introduction to Leadership" class.

Greek Life
Membership in a Greek organization fosters leadership, academic achievement, career development, community service, and good citizenship. It also provides you with lifelong friendships and memories.

Student of Color Leadership Symposium
The Student of Color Leadership Symposium brings together scholars and practitioners to share information and build networks in order to mutually inform and strengthen the common work of our student leaders at UNLV. In addition to informal networking opportunities, the symposium is a place for formal sharing of our work in theory, research, and application. It's also a forum to discuss what it means to be a student of color, a student leader, and a member of our 21st-century society.

Cultural Leadership Retreat
The retreat is a three-day, two-night weekend with interactive workshops where individuals explore cultural identity, share experiences, and discuss the meaning of leadership within the context of a diverse society.
